Lucky Cody Craig CGC CD BN RAE AXP AJP NFP THDD

On January 31, 2018, Lucky Cody Craig CGC CD BN RAE AXP AJP NFP THDD received a great tribute from the American Kennel Club, the Therapy Dog Distinguished Title, THDD, along with the medallion he is wearing in this picture.  Cody is so deserving of this award which requires a minimum of 400 therapy dog visits, which he has completed at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, and I couldn’t be more proud of him for how steadfastly and lovingly he has performed his work over the years.

Cody

For over eleven years, Cody has performed visits to those in need of comfort and care. For seven years, Cody served at Windsor Gardens Rehabilitation Center, Pacific Coast Care Center in Salinas and at Pacific Grove Convalescent Hospital.  He is currently beginning his eleventh year of service at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP). Cody’s picture, which was taken at CHOMP, was selected as the centerfold for AKC’s Therapy Dog Brochure by Dr. Mary Burch, AKC’s Therapy Dog Director, and Cody’s picture is also on a wall of photographs which are part of the “75th Anniversary History Exhibit” at CHOMP.
